Train to the Past: Lamphun Ancient Kingdom Cycling Adventure 

Your adventure starts at the Chiang Mai Train Station with a scenic 25-minute ride on a classic local Thai train to Lamphun. Upon arrival, we’ll hop on bicycles for a relaxing ride through the historic Hariphunchai Kingdom. Along the way, you'll discover the city's best-kept secrets, including magnificent ancient temples, stunning golden stupas, and a traditional Northern Thai wooden house. After soaking in the local history and legends, we’ll return our bikes and catch the afternoon train back to Chiang Mai.

• Meeting Point: 09:30 AM Chiang Mai Train Station. (A detailed photo and the exact meeting spot will be provided to the customer upon booking). 

• Ending Point: 02:10 PM Lamphun Train Station. (Guests will take the return train back to Chiang Mai).

👟 Comfortable walking shoes — you'll be on your feet and in and out of transport throughout.

☀️ Hat, sunscreen, and a light rain jacket — Bangkok weather can surprise you.

⚠️ Temple Dress Code:  Shoulders and knees must be covered when entering any temple. A light scarf or sarong is ideal — easy to pack, always useful.

Tours in languages other than English are available on request. Please contact us before booking — a separate quote applies, and pricing will differ from the standard English rate.

💝On Gratuities:  Tipping is never expected, but always appreciated. If your guide made the experience truly special — a tip is the most direct and personal way to say thank you. It goes entirely to them.

Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy

At PK Journeys (by Single Journey Travel), we keep our groups intimate and curate every detail specifically for you. Because we pre-book transport, secure local partners, and prepare authentic meals in advance, we strictly apply the following cancellation policy:

1. Cancellation by Guest

• More than 48 hours before the tour start time: 100% refund (minus standard transaction/payment processing fees).

• 24 to 48 hours before the tour start time: 50% refund (minus transaction fees), as we have already incurred non-refundable costs with our local partners.

• Less than 24 hours or "No-Show": Strictly no refund.

2. The Refund Process All payments are securely processed via Wise or direct Bank Transfer. Please note that any international transaction, bank, or currency exchange (FX) fees incurred during the refund process will be deducted from your final refund amount.

3. Punctuality & No-Shows To ensure a seamless experience for everyone, please arrive at the designated meeting point 15 minutes early. Out of respect for all guests, our tours start exactly on time. If you are late and miss the departure, it will be considered a "No-Show" and is strictly non-refundable.

4. Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances Our journeys operate rain or shine! However, in the rare event of extreme weather or unexpected circumstances where we must cancel the tour for your safety, you will be offered a choice to reschedule or receive a full 100% refund (with no fee deductions).
